Competition

Cyber@UCI hosts a variety of competitive teams for our members who want to dive deeper into the different subfields of cybersecurity - blue teaming, red teaming, penetration testing, SecDevOps, IT, forensics, reverse engineering, application security, and many more. As of Spring 2025, we have teams for the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC), the Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC), and Capture the Flags (CTFs). We have also competed in Hivestorm, eCitadel, and the Collegiate Incident Response Competition for Undergraduate Students (CIRCUS).

HackerLab

The HackerLab is Cyber@UCI's collaborative workspace in the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Building (ISEB) on campus. You can find us at ISEB 1550! We use our space to run team practices and host servers, but it is also open to anyone to come by to hang out, ask questions, and get to know one another. Our doors are often open, so check the current status on Discord and stop by!
